Tuition Support Program

Tuition costs for early childhood education programs vary across the province.

The Tuition Support Program can help reduce the cost to access early childhood education training at one of three approved Private Career College’s in Nova Scotia.

Full-time students enrolled in an early childhood education program at Jane Norman College, Island Career Academy and the Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education may be eligible to receive up to $2,000 per year, to be applied toward the cost of tuition.

This support is for new students starting in 2018-19 and 2019-20.
 

Eligibility:

  • Be enrolled as a full-time student in an early childhood education program that starts in the 2018/19 or 2019/20 school year;
  • Complete the diploma program by May 31, 2021;
  • Submit to the training institution any additional financial support, bursaries or scholarships you are receiving for tuition or books.
  • Submit a signed statement to verify your intent to work in Nova Scotia after graduation.
