The Skills and Learning Branch of the Department of Education has joined the
new Department of Labour and Workforce Development.
The new department will provide Nova Scotia employers with an integrated approach to workforce development focused on leading edge working conditions and opportunities for skill development.
The department is also responsible for enforcing safety regulations on much of the equipment, products and services Nova Scotians use on a daily basis.
In most cases, your contacts with Skills and Learning will remain the same.
