The department is committed to making improvements to inclusion. Most students learning needs can be met through large group instruction within the classroom, however some students may need extra support including small group instruction and/or intensive individualized programming.
Mi'kmaq Services works with Mi'kmaw Kina'matnewey to provide services to teachers and administrators in Nova Scotia's band-operated schools.
